Christian conservatives and libertarians: how is capitalism justifiable through the Bible?

The Bible doesn't support one particular economic philosophy over another, but it has often struck me that there is a hint of capitalism in the parable of the labourers in the vinyard [Matt 20]. Certainly no committed socialist would compare God to a man who makes unequal pay bargains with his workers.
