I just adopted a 1 month old from a shelter (Sasha) and she is interesting. Sasha sleeps allot and when she is awake she chases my Yorkie (Gucci) which hates it by the way. Sasha chews allot so don't be to kissy kissy, because she will nip at your lip. Puppies are curious and like to check things out with their mouth. My Yorkie doesn't really bark so our Sasha is quiet except for when she wants attention. Puppies cry at night for attention and as soon as they get it then she falls asleep. We go against what people say and let her sleep in the bed. We don't mind a dog at the foot of our bed but if you do look into crate training.
