Is an 11.6 inch screen too small for a laptop?

I'm a teenager interested in gaming and CS and would like to know if 11.6 inches is too small for a laptop screen. I'm buying an Alien ware mx11 for the battery life and all around good appeal. Also, it's not priced to heavily and I can still afford insurance. God knows I'll need it! Thanks for any feedback.
