I understand, due to your background, that you wouldn't want to date darker-skinned people. I was first going to suggest you simply didn't want to date a black person because its common for hispanic parents not to want their daughters to. (for historic reasons, the whole creolllo mestizos mulattos thing, it's a traditional mindset). Since you've actually been the subject of racism, it's normal for you to want to mate with lighter skinned people.
