What movie or show was this ( I'm stuck on it)?

all i remember is there was these kids in this school and they got locked in some how and when they would look outside everything was white and there was this one kid who had a class picture and he put an x over every kid he was going to kill or killed i think and there was some strange alien thing i think it was the x files please help i need to know
