How do i convince my parents to let me be what i want to be?

I've drawn a lot ever since i was lille. In elementary school me and my friends used to make "comic books" (even though i'd never even read a comic before lol). its an interesting question and one I hope from my experience with the disorder I can answer. Before I was diagnosed I was very unaware of what was happening to me, I really did think that everyone felt like i did, i never questioned the ups and downs. With my mania I seem to forgot alot of what goes on to be honest. Its like its a fog. The lows I definately remember. In 2002 I was finally diagnosed with BP and for many years I fought it and hated it. But I also did a lot of reading up on it and got myself the help i needed. Since 2002 I've had my moments and been hospitalized mainly because we did not find the right combo of med. 4 or 5 years ago we discovered an injection Respidol that is administered every two weeks. Its been a god send truly. Ive been very stable since then and I am doing really well. A white bright light in the middle of the night O.O?

I just adopted a 1 month old from a shelter (Sasha) and she is interesting. Sasha sleeps allot and when she is awake she chases my Yorkie (Gucci) which hates it by the way. My Yorkie doesn't really bark so our Sasha is quiet except for when she wants attention. Puppies cry at night for attention and as soon as they get it then she falls asleep. Mother is throwing a tantrum?

Dinnertime, I was on my phone at the table, finishing a math problem and punching in some numbers on the calculator and my mom told me to leave the table if I wanted to play on my phone. I told her to wait just a second (It was probably more like 20 seconds, but it wasn't very long at all) and she tried to force my phone towards my face, screaming PUT IT AWAY and soiling it because she had sauce all over her hands. I got irritated, but left the table and wiped my phone off and went to my room. All the way there, my mom was screaming insults at me saying that I'm the worst child (I'm the oldest, and trust me, my other siblings aren't role models either.) and that I don't listen to anyone, that one day I was going to pay for all this. Okay, mom. Oh, and my dad was telling me I was stupid for not listening at the same time. I went to my room to unwind and then all of a sudden, my mom is wailing. She's SOBBING. There have been several instances that this has happened. I swear, one day, I'm going to write a book about how immature parents are. But She hasn't done this very recently so at first it seemed kind of foreign to me. And then my dad was in my room, screaming his head off, saying that she was going to strip my bank account of all its money and he wasn't going to do anything about it, and that no one was going to fund me through college, even though most of it is the money I've made. And all the while, my mom is having a tantrum. Is any of this justifiable? Is there possibly a reason for all of this madness? Or is my mom just going into early menopause? I mean, she's not that old, but she's really not that young either. Oh. and she just told me I'm going to be in pain one day, for all the things I'm making her suffer through. Its a very personal question, my answer might not work for you. I work for an aerospace/defense company in the US. Not making weapons, but providing systems that are often used to guide/steer weapons (missiles, space launch vehicles, satellites, commercial and military aircraft). The company is diversified, so I have also been able to work on some cool things like the Spiderman vehicles used at Universal Studios Theme Parks. With respect to weapons, I believe they are necessary tools for countries to defend themselves. Yes, the world would be better off if none of us had weapons, but this is not that world. What if the US, UK, and their allies did not have military power in WWI or WWII ? You might be living in a country today that is not free. Therefore I have no trouble sleeping at night. I'm not a warmonger, and I don't always agree that the US uses its power for truly noble purposes, but in general, we must have the ability to defend ourselves and our allies.

How do I write and read, being less analytical about the literary use?

I used to write brilliantly before, imaginatively and creatively, but now it's gone to my head that if I stop reading books and preoccupying myself in story, poem-writing, english-kind of activities my writing will falter. Now whenever I write, I analyse everything I think of. Each word seems alien, as if I'm only using phrases I know to make up what I write. I keep analysing my sentence structure, and hope I'm not using too many connectives because there's always that thing at the back of my head-that I wouldn't get such good grades if I didn't work so hard to get them. I believe that I really don't have much talent. I am 12, I know this sounds like a bit of a useless thing to think of at 12. :) Too many connectives indicates lack of knowledge in actual ways to vary sentences, and I feel like I'm only getting away with descriptive language. Can you give me a bit of a lecture to get my imagination back into gear and get me reading and writing with the flow again. Even when I read I feel like I don't have the actual ability, like I'm analysing everything as I do in Language lessons. Adjectives, amount of adjectives, originality. What really bugs me now as well, is that I don't read for pleasure, only to "get back" my skill. Can you help me to get back to my original state?

I used to feel the same way you do. I just couldn't make friends with people because I didn't know what to say, and even still with my friends I don't feel as close to them sometimes as I would like to be. I had depression and anxiety, and really low self esteem, and through cognitive behavioural treatment and antidepressants I became a lot better!

hello! for human-like aliens, it would be good to use the latin "anthro-" root to show that it is a humanoid alien. for example, anthromorph or anthrodroid. scientific names are effective to use because most people are familiar with latin and greek roots. however, you could also come up with a made up name that sounds cool. evil prefixes like "mal-" and "anti-" are great to show a negative connotation for a bad guy.

Help! I am so confused with the Robotech storyline?

I finally watched the original 85 episodes of Robotech and he Shadow Chronicles movie, but I am more confused than ever with it's twisted storyline. First off, Protoculture started out as technology from an alien race in the Macross Saga, then it became a catalyst for the mutation of the "Flower of Life" in The Masters/ Second Cross. Then protoculture becomes an energy source in New Generation?WTF?!!! Then there's the issue with the disappearing Zendreadi in "The Masters" saga. Somehow Dana is around, but there is no other Zendreadi? Then in New Generation, there is no mention of Dana, Zor, or Musica when supposedly they were the reason for the end of the second Robotech war. Then the ending of New Generation confused me because in Shadow Chronicles Scott and Aria are together, while in New Generation, he leaves her. Not to mention all the time differences between when Scott leaves Earth. Now I know that Robotech was three completely different animes fused together and given a large storyline for syndication purposes, but the storyline confuses the heck out of me. Is there anyone who understands these holes?
